Teaching Typefaces (Mogwalo Ndebele TTF)

Since 11 official languages were declared to recognise the equal rights of all South Africans,
the nation has united as one, but its classrooms have become filled with children whose  mother tongues and traditions have been lost along the way. This became a concern for Reddam House.

We created “Teaching Typefaces”. A series of 11 dynamic typefaces, each beautifully illustrated and carefully crafted to represent an official language; and every letter designed with detail and meaning to educate about that culture.

The typefaces, which have been brought to life through various, age-appropriate learning tools, have become a unique way to encourage the understanding and acceptance of others.

The follwing is an example of the Ndebele tribe inspired typeface — Mogwalo TTF
